CONVERTING VEHICLES CORRECTLY

The Type Approval process forms the basis of all our business, ensuring the welfare of your people and vehicles are taken care of. We go the extra mile Converting Vehicles Correctly (CVC) every time.

Type Approval regulates the changes made to your conversion; fundamentally we ensure your conversions comply, whether transporting people or carrying goods.

We are The Type Approval Experts and we know how confusing it can be so if you are new to Type Approval please download our "Introduction To Type Approval" document below for more detail.
“Before we start any new project our first thought is always compliance - this is our bedrock. Clarks isn’t a faceless company, my name is above the door and the buck stops with me. I would hate to think that my name was associated with anything that wasn’t safe.”
Paul Clark - Owner / Director

TYPE APPROVAL vs IVA

An IVA isn’t appropriate for fleet conversions but it does have its place when used correctly. For example, here at Clarks we use an IVA when prototyping and testing new product lines. Once we are happy with the prototype we will then seek Type Approval before taking that product to market.
